The Story of PUCHENG Brand

     Oxygen Sensor is a key sensor unit in the EFI engine control system. In early 1986, PUCHENG Sensors began to develop its amazing history. 

Zhou PUCHENG, PUCHENG’s founder and incumbent President, worked relentlessly

 toward the development of a locally produced oxygen sensor, a key component of the fuel-injected automotive engines. 

The sensors have been chosen by Central Government of China as a one of the 863 technology products

 planned for special and urgent development. 

Unfortunately this project was abandoned due to the objective reasons after a first prototype of Chinese,

 homemade oxygen sensor was successfully built, with functions and performance paralleling or even

 outstripping its global counterparts at that time. In the 90s PUCHENG Sensors has started to grow up

 rapidly under the harsh test of American market. In the fierce market competition, the production of

 PUCHENG oxygen sensor from the technology to the quality and the performance has maintained 

sustained progress. We have continued to develop new products, expanded varieties, and always 

stood in the forefront of the industry. Latest designed oxygen sensor has even exceeded products 

from other MNCs for the key technical index, such as: high sensitivity, good stabilization and reliability, 

high precision and good-looking structure.

Rapid development of Shanghai PUCHENG in the 21st Century 

At the beginning of 21st century, facing the coming of new century, PUCHENG decided to base the company in Shanghai, Chinese 

economic, financial and trading center. In this more broad area, PUCHENG had better access

 to the domestic and international markets. It was the beginning of rapid development. In the recognition 

and reputation the scale of company's customers are increasing constantly. As long as people talk about the 

car sensors, they cannot forget to mention the "Shanghai PUCHENG Sensors”. Thanks to over

 twenty years’ experiences in the technical field of auto sensors, Shanghai PUCHENG not only has accumulated abundant technical forces, 

but also ushered in new challenges. In the face of increase market demand, Shanghai PUCHENG has

 placed the customer needs first and has begun to throw itself into the other automobile sensors development besides oxygen sensors.

such as circumjacent research institutes, universities, vendors, etc.,

 PUCHENG has achieved great progress in the research, development and production of the

 sensors such as Cam Position Sensor, Crankshaft Position Sensor, Anti-Lock Braking System, Throttle Position Sensor, Idle-Speed Controller and so on.

Under the financial crisis of 2008, Ebb Tide and see the real gold

  

In 2008, most of all trading companies were in the review, which was the

 consequence of The International Financial Crisis. The majority of the companies 

went bankrupt and were closed down. However, PUCHENG, as an export-oriented company was still successful and generate revenue 

at the similar level as before the crisis. Moreover in this year, we participated in the draft formulation of oxygen sensors. 

We have gained recognition in our country and the industry.

 Also we received the TS16949 certificate.
